BelDar'sRobes
 by Mark Burton

Value: 45,000

Looks: Grayish/Brown robes with assorted patches and stains and held together by a simple soft rope belt. Also there is a pair of decrepit looking soft leather boots that are mismatched in color; one is dark brown while the other is dark green. While the entire set looks ancient and ready to fall apart, close examination will reveal that the patches and stains are fake and that the robes and boots are of the highest quality and clearly custom made.

Effects: The robes grant the wearer AC 3/ AV12 . Further, they always keep the wearer warm when it is cold or cool when it is warm. The robes have 6 pockets, 4 of which act as small pockets of holding each capable of carrying up to 75 lbs. and anything up to 3 ft x 3ft may be placed within. The other two pockets each carrier a unique item. In one is a flask that carries unlimited ale. The second will create 25 GS/day for the wearer. However, it will never contain more than 25 GS either. The boots offer the wearer the same benefits as Elvish boots. This item will only work for those of a wizardish nature.

History: These robes were made for BelDar, an ancient mage, By the Ancient Magical Tailor Goftaw. It said that Goftaw made him three of these Robes/boots for BelDar's journey to save the world so many eons ago. None know of what happened to BelDar, for all any of us know, he could still be alive, at last count he had lived for 7,000 years, stating he had not yet found a need to die. There have been rumors for years that he may have accidentally left behind one of these sets of robes at Shadow Guard while visiting.
