This chalice of golden metal (metallurgy unknown) is adorned with cabochon cut rubies and emeralds, and bears black mithril runes in Eldarin which read:

"Who drink from me shall have life renewed, but another must pay the cost"

Any liquid poured into this goblet is 100% purified of poisons. Brackish water becomes pure and sweet; ale or wine gives a pleasant drunkenness with NO hangover.

If blood from a WILLING subject fills the cup (1 pint), it is transformed into a healing draught of unparallel potency. For anyone other than the donor, this potion will cure any and all wounds, diseases or curses. Old injuries, lost limbs etc...are healed as if they had never happened. It does not reverse aging, but you are in perfect health.

The cup may be used in this manner thrice. After the third time, it will disappear and another quest will be required to find it.
